Mysore KRS

Last year when I was at Mysore KRS(Krishna Raja Saagara) I could not resist myself writing few words about it.. The following few lines rolled through my pen as if they were printed in my mind.

ಮನ ತುಂಬಾ ನಗುವಿದೆ , ಮನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಸುಖವಿದೆ

ಚಿಲುಮೆ ನೀರು ಹಾರಲು , ಶಶಿ ರೇಖೆ ಮೂಡಿದೆ !!

ಸವಿಯಾದ ಕನಸಿದೆ , ಸೊಗಸಾದ ಅಲೆಯಿದೆ

ಭುಜದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಗಲು, ತಾರೆಗಳು ಮಿನುಗಿವೆ !!

ಕಣ್ತುಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದಿದೆ

ಮೈಸೂರ ಭ್ರುಂದಾವನವ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡು ಎಂದಿದೆ!!

Lotus Effect

Do you know what is Lotus Effect? It refers to the very high water repelency exhibited by lotus leaves; have you seen water standing on lotus leaves anywhere in your ponds? No - water does not stick to lotus leaves because of this property of repelency. Now, how bizzare it can be; the plant which lives literally in water but develop a property of repelency to water? Does not it goes against the theory of evolution? According to theory all living beings should adapt to their living circumstances but this stupid plant goes against it and start to hate its living condition itself! ROFL
