Balegara ..one we don't see

Alright, its been many years that I have last sung my song. Blame it on the lifestyle or lack of willingness to keep the old hobbies. I have heard many people saying, one can't keep the same hobbies for longtime. But the question is why can't we keep our hobbies for longtime? Hobbies are indeed made for lifetime - if we don't keep them with us how come we can call it as our hobby? I agree to the fact that hobbies do evolve with your life but they don't transform from one form to another. Because they are neither energy nor matter. 

Anyway, I have sung a song recently for myself. I recorded it just for fun. The player volume is bit low so increase your speaker volume. Obviously I don't expect you to like it - its mediocre anyway. Good luck with the song and have a beautiful day.

ಬರೆಯ ಕುಳಿತಿಹ ಕವಿಗೆ ಸಾಲುಗಳು ಬಾರದು,

ಕರುನಾಡ ಬಾಷೆಯನೆಷ್ಟು ಹೊಗಳಿದರು ಸಾಲದು.

ಸುಂದರ ಅತಿ ಮಧುರ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ,

ಶಿಲೆಗಳ ಬಣ್ಣಿಸೊ ಕಲೆಗಳ ಬೀಡು !!

ಕೋಟಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಕೂಡಿ ಕರಗಿಸಲಾರದು ,

ಕಪ್ಪು ಮಸಿಯಲಿ ತೀಡಿ ಅಳಿಸಲುಬಾರದು.

ಸುಮಧುರ ಸಂಗಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು,

ನವರಸ ಹೊಗಳುವ ಕವಿಗಳ ಬೀಡು !!

ವಯಸಿನಲಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ನೂರು ಶತಕಕೂ ಹಿರಿದು,

ಮನಸಿನಲಿ ಇಣುಕಿದರೆ ಹಸಿಗೂಸಿಗೂ ಕಿರಿದು.

ರಮಿಸುವ ವೈಭವ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ,

ಚತುರರು ಜೀವಿಸೊ ನೆಲೆಗಳ ಬೀಡು !!

Mysore KRS

Last year when I was at Mysore KRS(Krishna Raja Saagara) I could not resist myself writing few words about it.. The following few lines rolled through my pen as if they were printed in my mind.

ಮನ ತುಂಬಾ ನಗುವಿದೆ , ಮನೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಸುಖವಿದೆ

ಚಿಲುಮೆ ನೀರು ಹಾರಲು , ಶಶಿ ರೇಖೆ ಮೂಡಿದೆ !!

ಸವಿಯಾದ ಕನಸಿದೆ , ಸೊಗಸಾದ ಅಲೆಯಿದೆ

ಭುಜದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಗಲು, ತಾರೆಗಳು ಮಿನುಗಿವೆ !!

ಕಣ್ತುಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದಿದೆ

ಮೈಸೂರ ಭ್ರುಂದಾವನವ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೋಡು ಎಂದಿದೆ!!

Lotus Effect

Do you know what is Lotus Effect? It refers to the very high water repelency exhibited by lotus leaves; have you seen water standing on lotus leaves anywhere in your ponds? No - water does not stick to lotus leaves because of this property of repelency. Now, how bizzare it can be; the plant which lives literally in water but develop a property of repelency to water? Does not it goes against the theory of evolution? According to theory all living beings should adapt to their living circumstances but this stupid plant goes against it and start to hate its living condition itself! ROFL

H & W

One day , whilst I was in the kitchen working to get my dinner ready, a thought came to my mind. What happens or put it in different way, what goes through in husband's mind if his wife (H&W = Husband & Wife) become little distant? I don't have any experience on matter but would like to put myself into husband's shoes and think what goes on in that tiny little mind?

ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಡು ನನ್ನೇ ಗೇಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ,

ಕೂಡಿ ನಡೆದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸವು(ಕಳೆಯು) ಮನೆಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ,

ನೆಡೆದು ಬಂದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಅಳಿಸಿ ದಿಕ್ಕು ಕಾಣದಾಗಿದೆ,

ನಕ್ಕು ನಲಿವ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮುಖವ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ... !!

ಕದ್ದು ನೋಡುತಿದ್ದ ನೋಟ ಮರೆಗೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿದೆ,

ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆಯುತಿದ್ದ ದನಿಯು ಸೊರಗಿ ಸಪ್ಪಗಾಗಿದೆ,

ಕ್ಷಣದಿ ಕರಗುತಿದ್ದ ಮನಸು ಬಂಡೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂತಿದೆ,

ಹೇಗೆ ಓಲಿಸಿ ಕರೆಯಬೇಕೋ ಒಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದಾಗಿದೆ... !!

ಕ್ಷಮೆಯ ಬೇಡಿ, ಹಿತವ ನೀಡಿ, ಮನವ ನಗಿಸು ಎಂದಿದೆ,

ಛಲವ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಹಠವ ಸುಟ್ಟು, ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೆಳಕ ನೀಡದೆ?

Silence ..

How fragile the heart is.. I am so amazed how the heart works. Its different and something beyond the explanation. We call it in Kannada -'Manasu'.

When it fears it does not know what to do except beating it fast; when it thrills it does not know what to do either except thrilling the whole body. I will try not to give lecture but try to spill few words which would describe the silent heart. Its dead silent and needs a trigger. It needs the love and peace which it dearths;

ಏಕಿದು ಮನಸು , ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಮುನಿಸು

ಮಾತಿನ ಜೊಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೊರೆಯನು ಇಳಿಸು

ಮೌನವ ಮುರಿದು ಬೆಳಕನು ತರಿಸು

ನಿಲ್ಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ಡಮರನು ಬಾರಿಸು ..

ದೈರ್ಯದ ಬಿಲ್ಲನು ಹೆಗಲಿಗೆ ಏರಿಸು

ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಬಿಂಬದಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾರಿಸು

ಅಂಜಿದ ಮನಸನು ಛೇಡಿಸಿ ನಗಿಸು

ಮನಸಿನ ಒಡವೆಯ ಸಾರಿಸಿ ಒರೆಸು ...

ಶ್ರುತಿಯನು ಬಿಡದೆ ರಾಗವ ಹರಿಸು

ಬೈರವ ರಾಗದಿ ಜಪವನು ತಪಿಸು

ಹೇಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋವನು ಸಹಿಸು

ಅಂಜದೆ ಅಳುಕದೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬಯಸು ..

Intimidation/Trepidation

I don't know if I can explain the thoughts behind those eyes in above snap. But my instant instinct tells me one thing; a beautiful Indian women waiting for her husband's arrival.

But I also feel those eyes trying to tell much more; if somebody wants to hear. It gave me some inspiration to write few lines.

ಕಂಗಳು ಕಾದಿದೆ ಇನಿಯನ ಹಾದಿ

ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಕಳೆದಿವೆ ಗಂಟೆಗಳಾಗಿ

ಕಾಡಿದೆ ಬೇಸರ ಮುಂಗುರಿಳು ಮೂಡಿ

ಯೋಚನೆ ಹರಿದಿದೆ ಸಾಗರವಾಗಿ !!

ಹರಿಯುವ ಮನಸನು ಭದ್ರವ ಮಾಡಿ

ಕೂಡುತ ಕಳೆಯುತ ಆಟವ ಆಡಿ

ಚೆಂದದ ಕನಸಿನ ಕೋಗಿಲೆ ಹಾಡಿ

ಕಾದಿದೆ ಇನಿಯನ ದಾರಿಯ ನೋಡಿ !!

ಕೆಂಪನೆಯ ಕೆಂಡದಲಿ ,ಬೆಳ್ಳಕ್ಕಿ ತೋರುತಲಿ

ತಿಳಿ ಬಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗಿದೆ ಇಂದು !!

ಆಕಾರ ಎನಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಅರಿವಿಲ್ಲ

ತಿಳಿ ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಬೆಳಗುವೆನು ಎಂದು

ಅಂಕುರ ಎನಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದೆಡೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲ್ಲ
